WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the Congressional Member-led committee dedicated to electing Democratic women to Congress, announced its endorsement of Whitney Fox for Florida’s 13th Congressional District.
“Elect Democratic Women is proud to endorse Whitney Fox for Florida’s 13th Congressional District. Whitney will bring commonsense leadership to Congress. She has worked tirelessly to address issues that Pinellas County families face, like improving transportation and increasing access to health care. As a mother of two daughters, we know that Whitney will be a staunch advocate for reproductive freedom and will always lead with the best interests of women and families in mind,” said Rep. Lois Frankel (D-FL), Chair of Elect Democratic Women.
“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Elect Democratic Women,” said Whitney Fox. “For too long, Pinellas County families have been represented by someone who puts her extremist policies ahead of the needs of our community. I am looking forward to working with the Members of Elect Democratic Women to ensure that every Floridian has access to quality health care, education, and the better-paying jobs they deserve and that all women have the right to make their own health care decisions.”
