WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the Congressional Member-led committee dedicated to electing Democratic women to Congress, congratulated Rebecca Cooke (WI-03) on her primary victory in Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District.
“Rebecca Cooke grew up on a dairy farm outside Eau Claire, and she’s carried that hard work ethic into building a small business and serving her community,” said Liz Gallagher, Executive Director of Elect Democratic Women. “She knows what it takes to make ends meet in western Wisconsin, and she’s ready to fight for every family in the district to have the opportunity to succeed. We are confident she will take on the cost of living, fight corruption, and flip this seat in November. Elect Democratic Women is all in for Rebecca.”
Rebecca Cooke was born and raised on a dairy farm outside Eau Claire. She is a small business owner, nonprofit leader, and was appointed to the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation. She has won the Democratic nomination and will advance to the general election to flip this critical seat in November. Elect Democratic Women is proud to have contributed $50,000 to organizations supporting Rebecca’s election.
