WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the Congressional Member-led committee dedicated to electing Democratic women to Congress, announced its endorsement of Cait Conley for New York’s 17th Congressional District.
“Through three combat tours, three Bronze Stars, and a stint defending America’s elections at the federal government’s cybersecurity agency, Cait Conley has spent her career running toward the fight, not away from it,” said Liz Gallagher, Executive Director of Elect Democratic Women. “Now she’s fighting for Hudson Valley families, to lower costs, protect access to health care, and hold Washington accountable to the people it’s supposed to serve. She’s a battle-tested leader and Elect Democratic Women is proud to endorse Cait as she works toward flipping this critical seat in November.”
“I’ve spent my life answering the call to serve — from combat zones overseas to protecting the integrity of our elections here at home — and I’m ready to bring that same commitment to Congress,” said Cait Conley. “I’m grateful for the support of Elect Democratic Women as I work to deliver real results for Hudson Valley families on day one — lower costs, affordable healthcare, and an economy that works for the people who built it. Families here are tired of empty promises from politicians who won’t fight for them, and I’m ready to get to work.”
