Elect Democratic Women Endorses Cherlynn Stevenson for Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the Congressional Member-led committee dedicated to electing Democratic women to Congress, announced its endorsement of Cherlynn Stevenson for Kentucky’s 6th Congressional District.

“As a small business owner and a leader in Kentucky, Cherlynn has taken on powerful interests to protect health care, strengthen public schools, and bring jobs and opportunities to communities across the state, providing Kentuckians with the tools they need to build a better life,” said Congresswoman Lois Frankel, Chair of Elect Democratic Women. “Cherlynn’s leadership is shaped by real-life experience and backed up by a track record of delivering results. Elect Democratic Women is pleased to support her campaign as she brings that practical, people-first leadership to Congress.”

“For me, leadership has always meant listening and getting results,” said Cherlynn Stevenson. “Whether running a small business or serving in the Kentucky legislature, I’ve focused on protecting access to health care, strengthening our public schools, and standing up for working families. That same approach will guide my work in Congress — focusing on lowering costs, expanding opportunity, and making sure government works for people, not special interests. I’m grateful to have Elect Democratic Women’s support as we continue this work together.”
