Elect Democratic Women Endorses Lateefah Simon for California’s 12th Congressional District

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the Congressional Member-led committee dedicated to electing Democratic women to Congress, announced its endorsement of Lateefah Simon for California’s 12th Congressional District.

“Lateefah has spent her career fighting for women and their families. She has served her community by leading organizations that support marginalized young women, make California a more inclusive place for families to thrive, and ensure that public services are accessible and affordable to help working families make ends meet. Elect Democratic Women is proud to endorse Lateefah’s campaign and looks forward to working with her in Congress to continue building on the progress she has already made,” said Rep. Lois Frankel, Chair of Elect Democratic Women.

“I am honored to receive the endorsement of Elect Democratic Women in my run for Congress. Advocating for women and families is a crucial piece of representing the constituents I hope to serve,” said Lateefah Simon. “I look forward to working with the Members of Elect Democratic Women in Congress and continuing my advocacy efforts for the families of California’s 12th Congressional District.”
