WASHINGTON, DC – Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the Congressional Member-led committee dedicated to electing Democratic women to Congress, announced its endorsement of Pia Dandiya for Florida’s 21st Congressional District.
“Pia has dedicated her career to strengthening communities as a high school principal, policy leader, and technology innovator,” said Rep. Lois Frankel, Chair of Elect Democratic Women. “She understands the challenges her community faces and has the drive and experience to be a fierce advocate for hardworking families in Congress. Elect Democratic Women is proud to endorse her campaign.”
“I’m honored to have the support of Elect Democratic Women, an organization I’ve long admired. As a former high school principal, I’ve seen firsthand how hard American families work to achieve the promise of the American Dream—and how challenging it can be to make ends meet. I know we can do better for one another, especially here in the district where I was born and raised, and am now raising my own family. In Congress, I’ll fight to put people first by championing job creation, universal pre-K, reproductive freedom, and accountability for those who put politics ahead of progress,” said Pia Dandiya.
