WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the Congressional Member-led committee dedicated to electing Democratic women to Congress, announced its endorsement of Rebecca Cooke for Wisconsin’s 3rd Congressional District.
“Rebecca has spent her career serving her community and helping others. As a small business owner and non-profit leader, Rebecca has seen firsthand the challenges that small towns and rural communities face. We are confident that Rebecca will be a champion for Wisconsin families, and will be the working class voice in Congress that her community deserves. Elect Democratic Women is proud to continue supporting and working with Rebecca toward success,” said Rep. Lois Frankel, Chair of EDW.
“I’m so proud to have Elect Democratic Women’s support in my campaign. I know what people are worrying about in Wisconsin because I’ve faced many of the same challenges. Wisconsin families deserve a leader who shares their values and brings a working-class perspective to Congress. I’m ready to be that representative and to fight for small towns, rural communities, and Wisconsin values,” said Rebecca Cooke.

Elect Democratic Women was formed in 2018 by Democratic members of Congress with the purpose of electing more pro-choice Democratic women to Congress and higher office, based on the understanding that democracy is best served by a diverse Congress that reflects the people they represent.
The Executive Board is made up of five sitting members of Congress: Chair Lois Frankel, Rep. Joyce Beatty, Rep. Julia Brownley, Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, and Rep. Norma Torres.
