Elect Democratic Women Endorses Sarah Elfreth for Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the Congressional Member-led committee dedicated to electing more pro-choice Democratic women to Congress, announced its endorsement of Sarah Elfreth for Maryland’s 3rd Congressional District.

“As the youngest woman ever elected to the Maryland State Senate, Sarah Elfreth has been a champion for protecting women’s reproductive freedoms, serving Maryland’s veterans, and protecting the Chesapeake Bay for generations to come. She has the tenacity and dedication needed to serve her community in Congress and we are confident that Sarah will continue to fight for Maryland’s women and families. Elect Democratic Women is proud to endorse Sarah’s campaign and we look forward to serving with her in Congress,” said Rep. Lois Frankel (D-FL), Chair of Elect Democratic Women.

“I have dedicated my career to serving this community. I have fought to expand prenatal health care, ensure our Veterans get the help they deserve, and protect the Chesapeake Bay so that future generations can benefit from Maryland’s natural resources. I look forward to continuing to work for Maryland in Congress and am honored to have the endorsement of Elect Democratic Women in my campaign,” said Sarah Elfreth.
