Elect Democratic Women Raises More than $1.4 Million in the Fourth Quarter of 2023

In the 2023 off-year, EDW brought in a total of $5.2M, a record-breaking fundraising haul

WASHINGTON, DC – Today, Elect Democratic Women (EDW), the only Congressional Member-led committee solely dedicated to electing more pro-choice, pro-family Democratic women to Congress, announced that it raised over $1.4M in the fourth quarter of 2023. This is EDW’s fourth consecutive quarter of record-breaking earnings and brings EDW’s total cycle raise to $5.2M, keeping EDW on track to far exceed its 2022 cycle fundraising.

“The stakes could not be higher in 2024. From Congress to state legislatures, anti-choice Republicans are attacking women’s rights and pro-choice Democratic women will be the ones to stop them,” said Elect Democratic Women Chair, Representative Lois Frankel. “We are determined to take back the House majority with Democratic women to protect and expand reproductive rights and help families keep up with rising costs. These record-breaking fundraising numbers continue to show just how motivated voters are to elect Democratic women to Congress and take back the House majority.”

Elect Democratic Women was formed in 2018 by Democratic members of Congress with the purpose of electing more pro-choice Democratic women to Congress and higher office. We believe that democracy is best served by a diverse Congress that reflects the people they represent.

The Executive Board is made up of six sitting members of Congress: Chair Lois Frankel, Rep. Joyce Beatty, Rep. Julia Brownley, Rep. Chrissy Houlahan, Rep. Annie Kuster, and Rep. Norma Torres.
